Cornerstone Medical was inspired by the concept of “Connectivity”. The project executed a strategic redevelopment plan to transition a functionally/market obsolescent Maytag Appliance store into a fully integrated medical delivery model with uses that range from mental health, geriatric/spinal physical therapy, to Primary Care with integrated diagnostics. With the aim to re-establish the intersection of W. McDowell Rd. and Palm Valley Boulevard as a thriving western anchor of the Palm Valley Cornerstone Mixed-Use center. Cornerstone Medical design created signature exterior Tenant entries, so patients have direct access to Physician suites and eliminates building LOAD factor. The pedestrian centric plan provided walkability for its providers and patients direct access to Abrazzo West Valley Hospital as well as retail amenities ranging from quick service restaurants to package delivery services.
